The Dom Pedro Laguna Course is set apart by the number of holes which convey characteristics of a traditional links layout. American golf course Architect Joseph Lee was responsible for designing the course over low-lying coastal terrain, where he was able to establish 18 holes with a wide variety of playing conditions. Continuous upgrades have been made to the layout over the years, although it still retains all the appeal of a modern test of golf, through strategically positioned bunkers and several water hazards.
